RelayDocs

Getting started

Introduction

Relay is calm, fast customer support for SaaS teams. It gives your users instant answers and a way to reach you, gives them a place to shape your roadmap, and gives you one focused inbox to handle all of it.

Relay is a paid, hosted service: we run it for you, so there are no servers to manage and nothing to update. You get a Relay workspace for your product, and everything your users see is served from it. See Plans & billing. It is built as two separate components that you add to your app independently. Use either one, or both.

The support widget#

A chat bubble in the corner of your app. Users search your help center, ask the support bot a question and get an answer in seconds, grounded in your own articles. When the bot can’t help, one tap hands the conversation to you, and your reply arrives live in the widget or by email.

The feedback board#

A public board where users suggest features, upvote the ideas they want most and discuss them. You set a status on each idea (Planned, In progress, Complete) so voters always know where things stand. Embed our finished board in your app, build your own UI on the Feedback API, or link to the hosted page.

The feedback board: suggest on the left, ranked ideas on the right.
