Everyone on your team signs in with their own Google account or an emailed link and works from the same inbox. There are no shared passwords.
Owner and agents#
The person who created the workspace is its owner. A workspace has one owner.
Add a teammate#
- Open Inbox → Team and enter their email address.
- They get an email with a link. They join the first time they sign in with that address, which is also how Relay knows the address is theirs.
- Until then they’re shown as Invited. Removing someone takes effect immediately: their next request is refused.
Note
/login and sign in with the invited address. The email is a convenience; the invitation itself is what lets them in.Seats#
Your plan sets how many people can belong to the workspace, you included: 3 on Pro, unlimited on Team. When all seats are used the Add button is disabled; remove someone or switch to Team. Pending invitations count as seats. Your customers and visitors never do.
More than one workspace#
One person can belong to several workspaces, for example a contractor supporting two products. A switcher at the top of the sidebar appears when you do, and remembers your choice on that browser. You can also own up to three workspaces yourself; each has its own plan, team, articles and inbox.
