Feedback board overview

The feedback board is a place for users to suggest features, upvote the ideas they care about and see what you’re working on. It is a separate component from the support widget, with its own install and its own API.

What users can do#

Suggest a feature with a short title, an optional description and an optional name. Their own upvote is added automatically.
Upvote any idea, once per idea, and take the vote back with a second click.
Browse by Top (most votes) or New, filter by status and search.
Discuss on each idea’s page. Your team’s replies are highlighted and labeled Team.

All three share the same data. Ideas, votes and comments show up in your inbox however they were created.

Who counts as a voter#

There are no accounts to create. Relay recognizes voters one of two ways:

Your integration	Votes are tied to	Result
Anonymous	The browser (a random id in localStorage)	Clearing storage or switching browser allows another vote
With your user id	Your user	One vote per user per idea, on any device

Passing your user id is recommended for signed-in apps. Visitor ids are never shown publicly, so nobody can see who voted or act as someone else.
